| Coaching To Excellence is a two-day workshop to introduce you to the principles and methods of coaching, while gaining experience and insights you can apply in your own work. You will explore what's needed to evoke long-term excellence in others' performance. You will examine qualities required of a coach such as patience, discipline; the ability to build relationships, to listen and to inspire others; clarity and rigor in observing, as well as responsibility, imagination and creativity in working with colleagues and staff. The workshop offers a foundation for you to develop your ability as a coach to identify and resolve problems, open new perspectives and horizons on the job, as well as design practices that can elevate one's level of performance. What Happens in the Workshop? You'll not only hear lectures on the nature and methods of coaching, you'll work with other participants in "trying on" the roles of coach and client. Through structured exercises, case studies and simulations, you'll discover what's needed to intervene effectively in typical situations faced by managers and professionals. Additionally, you'll work with partners on "problem" situations from your own work experience. You'll be coached not only to resolve the problem, but to coach others in a way that allows them to succeed. Workshop Results While gaining skill as a coach takes time, study and practice, this two-day workshop allows you to:
